[Image] [Image] How to Dupe 1. Drop the item you want to be dupped 2. Put a potion on your belt 3. Close your inventory and walk a few steps away from the item you dropped before. 4. Click on the dropped item to take it (your character begins to walk to The dropped item.) 5. Now you must click on this potion on your belt at the same moment when your character takes the dropped item (it's a little bit tricky but just try it a few times!!!) 6.When you click at the right moment then the potion changes into the same item you dropped before, but you must drop this new item first to see the right graphic instead of the potion-graphic. [Image] How to Hack Items This can seem very complicated at first but once you have done it even once, it is very very easy. Here's how it's done: You'll need to do all this hex-editing with Hex Workshop. First you need to understand the terms in on this page so that you will know what I'm talking about when using HexWorkshop. A file in Hex-Workshop looks like a bunch of rows of numbers lined up from left to right. If you click the cursor in these numbers somewhere it will display the location at the bottom next to Offset. The far left column of numbers is the starting address for that row, so it may say 000000191 and all numbers in that row will be linked with that number, for example the 5th set in might be 191G or whatever. If I say to enter 08 at Offset 188 then you find the number by using the left column and the offset box located at the bottom of the screen in hex-workshop. All the Unique item files are very similar in Hex and only require a few changes to alter the item. Magic items are different and they are more complicated. I will try to get more information on it soon!!!!! The saved item files used are the Trader's .itm files. If you do not have the Unique Items saved as .itm files and want to hex-edit you will need it. Get it from my Item Archive page. Lets start with a simple example of what Demonspike Coat Armor looks like in Hex Workshop, and I'll identify what certain offsets in the file do and how you can change them to alter the item. Right now I know of 4 locations you can edit to alter the item. 00000000 4954 4D30 312E 4927 6C6C 2067 6574 2074 ITM01.I'll get t 00000010 6861 7420 616C 2754 686F 7221 0000 0000 hat al'Thor!.... 00000020 4E00 0000 0402 0000 0C00 0000 0000 0000 N............... 00000030 0000 0000 0100 0000 0000 0000 0D00 0000 ................ 00000040 0100 0000 6000 0000 1000 0000 0000 0000 ....`........... 00000050 0000 0000 0000 0000 0100 0000 0245 6D70 .............Emp 00000060 7972 6561 6E20 4261 6E64 006C 7970 7365 yrean Band.lypse 00000070 0065 6E61 7469 6F6E 0000 0000 0000 0000 .enation........ 00000080 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 00000090 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0044 656D .............Dem 000000A0 6F6E 7370 696B 6520 436F 6174 0000 0000 onspike Coat.... 000000B0 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 000000C0 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 000000D0 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0005 0300 ................ 000000E0 1200 0000 401F 0000 27D5 0300 0000 0000 ....@...'....... 000000F0 0000 0000 6400 0000 0000 0000 1B00 0000 ....d........... 00000100 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 00000110 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 00000120 0A00 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ................ 00000130 3200 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 2............... 00000140 0000 0000 0000 0000 FAFF FFFF 0000 0000 ................ 00000150 0000 0000 4E00 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 ....N........... 00000160 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 FFFF 0000 ................ 00000170 0000 0000 0100 0000 0000 0000 0100 0000 ................ 00000180 0000 0000 0100 0000 1C00 0000 0000 0000 ................ Each of these locations controls a certain attribute for the item. These bytes 20-25 are the most important ones in the item file and specify exactly what the item is, or is description in memory. Do not change these unless you know the special item byte for a different item otherwise you will just crash Diablo. If you need to figure out the special item bytes for another item just load the other item file into Hex-Workshop and look it up. This byte E0 determines the graphic of the particular item. It is very hard to find a graphic that will stick to another item but it can be done if you use the right graphics. If you change the byte to the proper number you can make any item you want into a ring, amulet, sword, helm, axe or armor. Bows and shields are different and right now I don't know how to hack them, if you do let me know. To change the item type change offset 188 to one of these: 08 - Ring (Empyrean Band) 0B - Ring (Ring of Truth) 0A - Amulet (Optic Amulet) 07 - Helm (Cool skull helm) 0D - Helm (Harlequin Crest) 0E - Helm (Veil of Steel)82 - Axe 1C - Armor (Arkaine's Valor) 06 - 2-Handed (Butcher's Cleaver) 1F - 1 handed sword (Griswold's Edge) Byte 10C and 110 control the durability of an item, if you make a hacked sword for example and not enter anything in here the item will have a durability of 0/0 and will break. I don't know how to make lower durability (not that you'd want to) but to make an item indestructible insert FF into offsets 10C and 110. The graphic will usually default to the type of item you are using, if not don't worry it will still equip with its original graphic. For example all the bows will keep their graphic but you can still equip them as a helm, ring, etc. with the graphic of a bow. It looks weird but it works. Thanks Pharismod! [Image] Beat the Bans on B.NET This can be very usefull for when your baned from a channel and would like to get back in. 1.click the start menu, then click on run. 2.click on run, and type in regedit. 3.then click on the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" folder. 4.Next click on the "SOFTWARE" folder 5.Finally font the folder labled "Battle.net" and delete it.
